Hi Miriam! They are Black Orpingtons. They are being referred to as Australorps, because these kind originated in Australia, but they are still black Orpingtons, like my Buff Orpingtons in the picture below. Wow, I don't know what I'd do if it didn't rain for that long! I got rain last night. It was sunny during the day and rained at night, perfect for me! :) I bet your garden is loving it!
